Hello, my name is Lisa Medeiros and I am the Pedagogical Lead at St. Matthew Child and Family Centre. I have been an RECE for 13 years and have been with HWCCCC for 10 years. I have been the Pedagogical Lead at this centre for 4 years now. As someone who attended child care my entire childhood, I have always known the value and benefits of allowing children a space to grow developmentally, emotionally and socially. I believe that every child deserves the right to feel loved, cared for and valued each and every day. Each one of these children bring their own unique identity that we celebrate throughout our centres, which I believe is one of the most important aspects of a successful childcare centre.
